Lark & Grace Interiors was founded under the philosophy that homes should be a reflection of the families that live within them. Taylor Whaley is the Principal designer at LGI, and after having two daughters of her own, the company’s namesakes - Larkin and Grace - realized the home is about cherishing family memories, creating spaces that can withstand the test of time, and capturing the joy and personalities of those who inhabit it.
With over a decade of experience in both residential and commercial design, Taylor offers a creative and technical eye to each of her projects. After graduating from Baylor University with a BA in Interior Design, she went on to work for several high-end residential designers in both Dallas and Houston. She further developed her technical skills and construction knowledge while working for Page, a large commercial architecture firm in Houston specializing in hospitality and corporate design. Her award-winning projects have been featured in the Houston Business Journal, Luxe Magazine, HGTV Magazine, Better Homes & Gardens, and other notable publications.
Taylor’s broad range of experience has provided her with a unique aesthetic - an appreciation for both contemporary and traditional design, a love of layered textiles, and a thoughtful mix of pattern and texture. Most importantly that the home should evoke happiness and comfort for the families that live within.
